Would you like to see ways in which a well-grounded focus on feeling can make therapy more effective and therapeutic progress more rapid?
Nat Kuhn, Kristin Osborn, Jon Rathauser, and Steven Shapiro are presenting a one-day workshop at William James College (formerly MSPP, the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) in Newton, MA, on November 7, 2015, from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
Experiential Dynamic Therapy (EDT) is an umbrella term which includes Habib Davanloo’s ISTDP and other models including those of his former students Leigh McCullough (Affect Phobia Therapy, APT) and Diana Fosha (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, AEDP), among others. This all-day event is a great opportunity to see four leading EDT practitioners present video recordings of their work, and to discuss similarities and differences of their approaches in a collegial atmosphere.
For more information and to register, please see the William James website. 6 CE credits are available. The cost is $135, with 50% off for students/trainees. There is also a 10% discount for registration before October 17th. To get information on the discount codes, subscribe to the email list (you can unsubscribe at any time), or email me. Trainees should sign up as “Licensed mental health clinician student.”
Note that in addition to the name change, the campus William James campus has moved from the previous MSPP location in West Roxbury.
